Clean-up Express. Choo! Choo!

Brigham and Kaiya love their "Big Thomas." We play the clean-up express with it. They hold the items to be put away and I push the train to the appropriate rooms. It is a fabulous system. They stay busy and I get my house cleaned up.

Now if I can just figure out how to take a picture with both kids looking at me and smiling!

For Caleb's 32nd birthday we ate banana cream pie with his favorite Hagen Daas ice cream. I gave him a bottle opener (inside joke) apple beer, and a leather storage chest. We decided to have a celebration dinner later that week in Provo at the "Shoots" restaurant. For his celebration we splurged at dinner to include shaved ice with mangos one of his favorite deserts from Taiwan.

A day in the yard

April 27, 2008



Today Caleb and I worked in the yard. We are trying to prepare the yard for grass. I took some videos of the kids playing.

The kids are dirty. The yard is yucky, but they were still having a ball.

Kaiya loved the music on this bike. She would push the button and then boogie to the beat. Isn't she a fantastic dancer.




I hope this video doesn't make you car sick. I just wanted to capture Kaiya laughing. She loves to swing.

Tulip Festival

On Tuesday April 22, 2008 we went to the Tulip festival with Gwen and her two boys Ethan and Tyler. It was beautiful. Brigham loved the flowers and waterfalls.



While we were in the children's garden we found some metal sculptured geese. Brigham was very interested in these. At first he sat on one of the baby geese's back. When this didn't seem to work he tried to sit on the mother goose's back. This seemed much more comfortable for him as he sat there for some time. We just had to laugh.

Caleb shared a party at Sunday dinner with Kaiya and Andre at Grandma and Grandpa's house. It came complete with dinner, cake and ice cream.

Kaiya's First Birthday

Kaiya celebrated her first birthday on March 10th 2008. Her cousin Hanna and Aunt Aimee came to her party.

We ate cake and ice cream, opened presents and all the kids splashed around in the tub for cleanup.

After Kaiya was out of the tub she and Brigham made a new mess in the kitchen. Kaiya was caught cleaning up the cake off the floor. YUCK!

She didn't seem to care at all.
